Sasha Boldachev - Master Class & Concert

Sponsored by The American Harp Society, Inc., the Pittsburgh Chapter of the AHS is excited to present Sasha Boldachev in concert at City of Asylum, 40 W. North Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA, 15212. Suggested donation of $10 Adult, $5 for Student or Senior.
Sasha will be performing on both pedal harp and the new Salvi Delta electric harp in a program with repertoire ranging from Adele to Bach and Chopin to Nirvana.
Sasha Boldachev is an internationally recognized Russian-Swiss harpist, composer, and teacher. An official artist for Salvi Harps, he recently performed onstage in the new ballet, Nureyev, at the Bolshoi Theatre.
Sasha graduated from a special lyceum for talented musicians in St. Petersburg (Russia) and the Zurich University of the Arts (Switzerland) with bachelor’s, master’s and specialist’s degrees. He is the recipient of the Prize for Culture by the European Cultural Foundation “Pro Europa,” and has won prizes in more than 10 international competitions both as a harpist and composer.
Sasha has two solo albums, “Harp as an Orchestra” and “From Russia with Harp” as well as several chamber music albums and music videos.
